Job Description

    Provide support for all Workday related queries from various stake holders of multiple clients. Translate business needs into technical requirements.


Desired Candidate Profile
  • Make Workday configuration changes as required (business processes, security, reports,absence and other configuration)
  • Support integrations & Mass Upload of data using EIB’s.
  • Support the development of Workday and implementation of any Workday modules.
  • Prepare training materials and deliver training where necessary.
  • Update functional process guides, training materials and user guides for end users.
  • Support on Workday system changes and upgrades including the bi-annual Workday releases
  • Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality and ensure compliance
  • As a Workday HCM Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of Workday’s Human Capital Management solution
  • Certification in Workday HCM Core is a must
  • You will provide Workday product, subject-matter, and implementation expertise; and work with partners to understand their business requirements and help configure and test the derived solutions
  • In-depth knowledge of Workday security framework, business process configurations, Staffing models, Jobs and Positions
  • You will work effectively individually and with team members toward customer satisfaction and success.
  • Design and implement requirements in the Workday HCM solution, building consensus around business processes and design.
  • Demonstrate the configurations through the development of a prototype.
  • You will assist in creating solutions for client and/or internal review.
  • Conduct working sessions with clients to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements; ensure client takes advantage of Workday standard methodologies.
  • Help convert legacy data into Workday and assist clients in testing the designed solutions.
  • Analyze Workday release updates to understand impacts of feature changes, in relation to clients existing configuration
  • Resolve functional issues and understand and implement complex business scenarios
  • Experience in creating custom reports
  • Ability to manage multiple projects of differing scale and duration.
  • Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
  • Provides problem resolution that may be non-standard within defined practices and procedures.
  • Analysis possible solutions using standard procedures with a moderate level of guidance.
  • identifying organisational need for new applications
  • preparing technical specification as a roadmap for software
  • implementing, testing and integrating new applications
  • performing routine system backups and upgrades
  • installing new operation systems and releases
  • providing instructions and training to staff when necessary
  • monitoring, recoding and responding to requests for support
  • investigating and diagnosing system faults and errors
